In the latest episode of For The Record, GRAMMY.com explores Alicia Keys' genre-blurring debut album, 'Songs in A Minor.' Released in 2001, 'Songs in A Minor,' widely considered Keys' masterpiece, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts and earned multiple GRAMMYs at the 44th GRAMMY Awards in 2002, including Song Of The Year, Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song, and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, with Keys taking home the Best New Artist GRAMMY that same year.
