Homeless Balloon - Riding On Meta Clouds

In 2001 Helge Krabye wanted to show how the tools and effects in MetaSynth could sound, so he collected unused MetaSynth sounds he had created earlier and began playing around with all kinds of treats and effects. The track ended up becoming an ambient psychedelic trip through strange clouds filled with voice snippets, backwards political statements, swirling synth sounds, frequency sweeps and shuffled drum-sequences. The track was never released, except for an early version I uploaded to SoundCloud. The track on Homeless Balloon's "Meta Landscapes" (2021) has been improved with more sounds and a better audio mix. The video version is an animation of how the rich frequency spectres in this track varies over time, measured and displayed visually with a Spectrogram instrument.
