If you walk through the house,
a river runs in one of the rooms.
Butterflies fill the mouths here.
Two lesser rooms are eye sockets.
Do you hear the house's hidden voices?
The walls are listening in silence
and in the evening the innermost wall –
it’s covered by an ocean.
And the voices of our house,
are sinking in its own water.
It transpires every morning,
and falls here at night.
The burning sound.
