Rita Hovink was a Dutch singer, who had a hit in 1977 with this song 'Laat Me Alleen' which reached no. 29 in the Dutch charts on January 29, 1977. This is a Dutch version of the Italian song 'Pazza Idea' by Patty Pravo. Song writers are Paolo Dossena, Cesare Gigli, Maurizio Monti and Giovanni Ullu.
Rita Hovink unfortunately passed away September 7, 1979, today 42 years ago.

Rita Hovink, pseudoniem van Hendriekje Jannie Vink, (Beverwijk, 3 maart 1944 – Hilversum, 7 september 1979) was een Nederlandse zangeres. Ze had een prachtig timbre en heeft haar grootste bekendheid te danken aan het enkele jaren voor haar dood verschenen nummer 'Laat me alleen'. Dit is een cover versie van het Italiaanse liedje 'Pazza idea' van Patty Pravo. Gerrit den Braber maakte een Nederlandse tekst op het nummer, dat werd geproduceerd door Cees Schrama.
Dit optreden is uit het programma 'Muzikale Hartewensen' van 15 januari 1977.
