Six years ago this week, John Mark Nelson performed in The Current studio in a session recorded for The Local Show. Nelson had already been a visitor to The Current by that point, having grown up in nearby Minnetonka, Minn., and moving later to Minneapolis. Nelson has now decamped to Los Angeles, where he continues to write music as well as producing music for various artists.
