In the newest episode of For The Record, revisit Britney Spears' classic 2001 album 'Britney,' in which she charted a course from girlhood to womanhood. Released on Nov. 6, 2001, 'Britney,' Spears' third album, remains a seminal pop document, one in which the GRAMMY-winning pop superstar became her own artist and revealed her true essence to the music landscape and wider world. The album features several of Spears' most iconic hits, including "I'm a Slave 4 U," "Boys," the personal anthem "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman," and the GRAMMY-nominated "Overprotected." 'Britney' celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2021.
