Appropriating the look of VHS, artifact-laced vintage glitch with rural scenes of America, this is the transformative music video for the first commercial release of a single by Sean Allen Fenn. Nostalgia meets modern anxiety. Written in isolation during the summer of 2020, when the pandemic hit, The Love Cascade is thematically apocalyptic. Vague prophecy is mentioned and repeated in the chorus: “In the last days division / apart from the love cascade, Motives met with the mark of Cain / apart from the love cascade.”
