TIX says Efendi was meant to attend Melodi Grand Prix 2022 in Norway

He's the Norwegian pop star known for turning up the volume at the party with his infectious dance numbers. And, as we saw during Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam, TIX is also a romantic who believes in the power of love, especially when it comes to his queen Efendi.

Last night at the MGP 2022 afterparty, one half of Efentix spoke with our correspondent Anne about his ongoing love affair with Azerbaijan's Eurovision 2021 contestant. He revealed that the "Mata Hari" singer was meant to attend the final of Melodi Grand Prix, but unfortunately she couldn't secure a visa in time.

"I'm going to give you a scoop, OK," he says. "Tonight Efendi was actually supposed to come here. We bought the plane tickets but we couldn't get the visa in time. She was supposed to be on stage with me."

"But we've been FaceTiming so she's basically been here all evening."

The "Fallen Angel" hitmaker also says that he will return to Melodi Grand Prix in the future.

"I feel so at home here. I'm just a huge Eurovision fan. I'm going to stay at this arena for years and years and years I bet."
