"Landlines and Rabbit Ears" is an elaborate lyric video made by Drunken Prayer's Morgan Geer. The psychedelic swirling drone footage, filmed on the beach in Bandon, OR, brings to mind the acid western Jodorowsky film, El Topo. The camera follows Geer who's dressed in a glittery black suit and cape, swaggering across a desert and yelling at the sun. Soon we see this is a dream sequence revealing Geer sitting alone in his basement in Asheville, NC wearing David Bowie cake makeup, literally singing in his own ears. It's a bizarre and effective video for this surreal country-glam song.
