My new single, Complicated, is by far the song that took me the longest to write. It was,…. complicated. I started writing it over a year ago and kept on contemplating whether or not the song should be released. A lot of raw feelings and emotions were pored in the song and I wasn’t sure if I wanted the world to hear it. This song started from a love-hate relationship with someone I was close to at the time. The relationship was very confusing to me, I was getting mixed signals all the time. I think this song describes the human complexity and the confusion we experience during new relationships. "Complicated" means a lot to me, it helped me clear my mind and heal my heart. I hope by listening to it, you will open up your heart to the complexity of LOVE amongst HUMANS.
