Family Vacation Insta vs Reality

We definitely had some “Instagram” moments on our first real family vacation, but we also had a strong dose of “Reality” every day as well haha! Who else can relate? 🤣

Besides some of the sleeping issues and the house not being child-proofed (we had to wedge a huge dresser in front of the door at night so Logan couldn’t escape our room LOL) it was really fun spending so much time with family in such a beautiful location (Colorado)! I’m seriously grateful for the opportunity to travel again and especially to see some gorgeous mountain scenery because I’ve definitely missed that these past few years.

What do you think is the hardest age to travel with kids? Ours are 1 and almost 3, and I felt like this was really tough…but if there’s one thing I’ve learned as a parent so far it’s that it can always get tougher haha 😂 Hope you’re having a great week so far!
