With hugely successful singles including ‘Where Are You Now’ and ‘Questions’ this year from Lost Frequencies, his latest smash ‘Chemical High’ also kept eyes and ears on the prolific producer as he now readies an all-new remix package for fans to enter into the Autumn!
With a Deluxe Radio Mix to kick off proceedings from the main man himself, it takes the silky-smooth vocal and funky aura of the original and strips back the layers further with spacious, rising tonal elements that allow the topline to take centre stage. With prominent keys that lend themselves to a club-ready environment, it’s a rising and tension building edit that leans into the progressive and electro genres, showcasing the dexterity that Lost Frequencies possesses when it comes to studio expression.
Next up, Dutch producer Melsen – already known for his remix work for names including Sam Feldt and solo releases such as ‘Keep Me’ that received support from Lost Frequencies himself – injects ‘Chemical High’ with his own individual stamp. Speeding up proceedings and bringing his signature piano addition to the original, Melsen works magic with grooving basslines, racing synthlines and a high-energy that wouldn’t feel out of place on major maingstages.
Last but certainly not least, France’s melodic vertuoso NTO is also invited to close out the party, bringing rolling tempos, lush levels and atmospheric pads that bring a swelling and brooding instrumental front and centre. Looping and manipulating the original vocal into both chopped curvatures and soaring, elongated swathes, ripples of arpeggio and intense synthlines then spill over into a peak-time, dramatic thing of beauty that invites introspection.
Speaking on releasing this stellar collection of ‘Chemical High’ remixes, Lost Frequencies said: “I’m super excited to share the remix pack of my singe ‘Chemical High’! With three brand new edits, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did compiling them! First of all, I always like to create my own Deluxe Mix of tracks to switch things up, as well as a remix from Melsen, who is a great and upcoming producer rom whom I’ve been playing his new releases in my sets this Summer! Finally, I have a remix from French producer NTO, he’s really doing amazing things and I’ve been following him for several years now. Enjoy and thanks for all your support!”.
