Neill Blomkamp, yes the director of District 9 and Elysium, directed this official video for Mythos "Ascent" back when he was starting out in VFX in Vancouver, BC. Featuring, at the time, cutting edge visual effects, the video features a character who is racing to download her memories to another version of herself before expiring. True to Blomkamp's intriguing sci-fi themes, this short form film explores immortality and ascension.
