A short segment of Laura Branigan performing live her new single "Dim All The Lights" at the Queens Pride in New York. This segment was shown on an episode of TV show "HoMoVISIONES" hosted by Heriberto Gonzales featuring a report on the 1994 and 1995 Queens Pride Parades.
"Dim All The Lights" was originally a hit song composed and performed by Donna Summer in 1979. In 1995, Laura made her version of the song. It was released as a single and peaked at number 36 on Billboard magazine's Hot Dance Club Songs. The song was included on "The Best of Branigan", a greatest hits compilation released on June 6, 1995.
A music video for the single, showing Branigan surrounded by a bevy of drag queens (Miss Understood, Hedda Lettuce and Vivacious), was made to promote the single. It was her last, and the release was the end of her association with the label Atlantic Records, as she left the music industry to care for her husband, who had been diagnosed with cancer.
