BEASTARS is a popular Japanese comic series by Paru Itagaki. With its unique worldview where anthropomorphic carnivores and herbivores coexist, as well as the complex psychological drama, the series enjoys high acclaim and has won many prestigious awards. The anime rendition has also been broadcasted worldwide to success, attracting fans around the globe.
Måneskin’s Damiano David is one of them; when the band did their first concert in Japan in August 2022, they met Itagaki-sensei, who came to the show and brought a brand-new illustration of the band members with the BEASTARS characters as a gift.
In this music video, over the song “TIMEZONE” from the album RUSH!, the main characters of the comic, namely Legoshi the wolf and Haru the rabbit recreates the love story against all odds and prejudices. The video is based on an array of classic BEASTARS scenes picked up from the comic, along with the illustrations newly created by Paru Itagaki.

マネスキンのダミアーノ・デイヴィッドもその一人で、2022年8月に初めて日本公演を行った際には来場した板垣先生と対面を果たしたほか、バンドメンバーと『BEASTARS』のキャラクターが共演する書き下ろしイラストがプレゼントされた。
今回のMVでは、アルバム『RUSH！』収録の「TIMEZONE」に乗せて、コミックの主人公であるレゴシ（オオカミ）とヒロインのハル（ウサギ）が様々な困難や偏見に立ち向かいながら繰り広げるラヴ・ストーリーを再現。映像はコミック『BEASTARS』からピックアップした数々の名シーンを基に構成され、板垣巴留先生による新規の書き下ろしイラストも使用されている。
