Flatline D.O.A is about the stark, shocking, and sometimes still unbelievable realization that death strips everything from the ones still living leaving only grief, isolation, and ambiguity in the place of answers.
‘Flatline D.O.A’ is a thought-provoking insight into the inner musings of Recording Artist Jeremy Harry Harris as he ponders what really happens when things die. Approaching this complex and often emotional topic, Jeremy Harry Harris shines the cold hard spotlight of reality onto the thoughts and feelings we often have but find hard to express when confronted by the death and loss of someone or something close to you.
Emerging themes of love, loss, betrayal, pain, and impending grief swirl constantly around the screen as the carefully crafted scenes of this music video play out to the sad inevitable end we just know is coming; that we can’t avoid; but yet we are drawn to the dark finality of it despite our own secret misgivings.
Track 5 (taken from the concept album ‘Walking With My Darkness’) Flatline D.O.A links back to Track 4 of the album, acknowledging that “No One Gets Out” alive and here is just one of the many consequences that come with such a happenstance.
The video has been shot at various locations throughout Perth Western Australia with producer Peter Renzullo, who previously worked on the international award-winning video for Harris’ 2020 single, Shout Down
The Silence. Flatline D.O.A has been recorded at RMR Studios Cuba and Scudley Studios in Perth.
