"Sockerkakan" (English translation "The sponge cake") is a track from the album "Två dagar om året - Mårten Lärka spelar Stig Dagerman". The lyric is an adaption of an episode from the novel "Ormen" (English translation "The snake") by the Swedish writer Stig Dagerman 1923-1954.
This recording was made at Tambourine Studios, Malmö, by Joar Sylvan. Mastering by Jonas Siöström at Dynamic Audio. Bass, backing vocal: Lars Ohlsson. Drums, backing vocal: Martin Hellquist. Xylophone: Albin Johansson. Guitar, vocal: Mårten Lärka. Backing vocal: Frida Bergström.
This video shows Mårten Lärka and his crew of merrymakers; The Death, The Angel, The Pilot and Lärka himself (pretending to be Stig Dagerman), having a big Swedish fika and some liquorice pipes.
Video production: Banana boys. Music label: COMEDIA & M.OTION SONGS.
