Art Effect is an alternative pop-rock band from Split/Kaštela, formed in 2018.
Something that was supposed to be a Brit pop tribute band soon became an original band with songs in the Croatian language.
In 2020, Denis Mitar on guitar and Antonio Žeravica on bass are joined by Mirna Katinac on vocals, who refined the guitar rock riffs with a melodious overtone, giving a nostalgic note of the former New Wave and post New Wave, which together makes it unusual, but now a recognizable combination. The following year, Roko Kalebić joined the group on drums, and with that Art Effect completed the specifics of its sound and the already mentioned contrasts, which in the end "kissed" very well.
