Henk Westbroek is one of the founding members of the Dutch pop group Het Goede Doel (English: The Charity or The Good Cause). In 1982, they had their breakthrough hit with "België." After that, the group scored a whole series of hits. Westbroek also had success as a solo artist, although it took quite a long time. After a few failed albums, the album Westbroek was released in 1998 with the expectation that it would mark his breakthrough as a solo artist. However, the first single, "Loods Mij Door de Storm", didn't even make it into the charts. The following single, "Zelfs je naam is mooi" (Even Your Name Is Beautiful), also failed to take off. As a result, Henk's contract with his record label was terminated. But a few months later, a miracle happened. Thanks to heavy airplay, "Zelfs je naam is mooi" eventually became a hit. The song remained in the charts for an impressive 41 weeks. This live performance of "Loods Mij Door de Storm" was taped for the Dutch TV program “Tafkas” on February 13 1998.
