Rick James lit up the 1982 GRAMMYs stage with his high-energy performance of "Give It To Me Baby." Dressed in a gold-sequined leotard and his signature beaded braids, the King of Punk Funk brought the audience to their feet in a funky celebration to remember. Though "Give It To Me Baby" wasn't nominated at the ceremony, James earned GRAMMY nominations for both Best R&B Vocal Performance for "Street Songs" and Best Rock Vocal Performance for "Super Freak."
