Icelandic artist Laufey released her third album, "A Matter of Time," on August 22, 2025. Back in 2023, Laufey visited The Current to perform a couple of solo renditions of songs from her second album, "Bewitched." Watch Laufey's performance of "Promise," above — a song, incidentally, that Laufey cowrote with Minnesota-born singer-songwriter Dan Wilson.

All of Laufey's albums, 2022's "Everything I Know About Love," 2023's "Bewitched" and 2025's "A Matter of Time," are available on @AWAL. Song "Promise" co-written by Laufey and @danwilson.
