Chicago band Friko recently visited The Current to talk to host Zach McCormick about their new album, "Something Worth Waiting For," which released April 24, 2026, on @atorecords.
During the interview, Zach notes how the album seems to have been influenced by the band's experience on the road. Friko lead vocalist Niko Kapetan talks about how he had previously been resistant to writing a tour record, but ultimately embraced it.
