Ahead of his first Eurovision rehearsal, Aidan — Malta's Eurovision 2026 singer — is thanking the universe he didn't win the Malta Eurovision Song Contest earlier. That's because he loves "Bella," one of the 35 songs he wrote for Eurovision. His personal favourite of all his previous entries, he says he wants to present something unique in terms of originalist and musicality. "There's nothing electronic in it," he says. "You can listen to the honesty in it." He loves the Frank Sinatra, crooner vibe and how he's the first person from Malta to send a song fully in Maltese in 54 years. In terms of staging, he'll be solo on stage, but not on the camera. We spoke at the London Eurovision Party.
