When the team from wiwibloggs launched wiwivision 2015 – our alternative song contest – on 22 June, we hoped for a little pick-me-up from post-Eurovision depression. But thanks to y’all we practically eliminated PED completely – result! Almost 5,000 votes were cast across two semi-finals and a further 4,000 were added in the grand final. Now, after a slight delay (long story short: graphical fiasco), it’s time to reveal the winner of wiwivision 2015. Remember, the result is a mixture of jury and public vote. The first 50% is awarded by 40 members of the Wiwi Jury in a manner similar to Eurovision, while the remaining points are allocated proportionally based on the reader poll.
