British singer/songwriter Sam Smith discusses what a GRAMMY nomination means to an artist's career and recalls his life-changing breakthrough in the United States. "The GRAMMYs, to me, are a certification of quality," says Smith. "If you get a nomination, it feels like you've made a piece of work that is timeless." Smith is among the leading 57th GRAMMY nominees with six nods: Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
