Carole King discussed her "strong connection" with Sara Bareilles and being honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year during rehearsals for the MusiCares Person of the Year gala on Jan. 23 in Los Angeles.

King will be honored as the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year on Jan. 24 at a special tribute concert and dinner, recognizing her accomplishments as an artist and humanitarian.
