Some time ago, call it centuries if you like, an unknown Bearded Man once found himself at the borders of a kingdom in a dire situation, where the good, old king feared to be overthrown by the evil in his lands. Never one to walk away from a friend in need, he immediately rushed to the aid of said kingdom, confronting the foul creatures with his unprecedented courage and valor, while pushing them back to the depths of hell they had arisen from. Showing the gratitude The Bearded Man deserved, the king awarded him with a badge of honor, to commemorate the bravest of gestures: aiding the people that truly deserve it.
Returning to the present, the legend very much resembles Achtabahn’s ‘To The King’. But that’s a story for another time and place.
