Planet Love Records joining Armada Music means a fresh start for its label owner and the mastermind behind York, Torsten Stenzel. After countless of classics, York hits in with new single 'Wanna Be Known', featuring singer Brandon Jones.
More than 15 years after the first York release, German producer Torsten Stenzel blows new life into the project behind classics such as 'The Awakening', 'Yesterday' and 'On The Beach'.

York looks ahead and faces future, one in which his tracks will surely resound. 'Wanna Be Known' is the first step into 2012, providing a catchy, warm track that balances pop, prog-house and down-tempo.

Featuring the characteristic voice of American actor/singer Brandon Jones, 'Wanna Be Known' has got a silver lining to add to each moment it gets played.

On the remix duties, we've got German producer Steve Brian and Dutch duo 16 Bit Lolitas. Where Steve Brian turned 'Wanna Be Known' into a feel-good piece of prog-house, 16 Bit Lolitas focused on the deeper end of this tune, riding a growling bass-gu itar and giving it a dark, powerful edge.
