20-year old talent Han van de Veerdonk likes to take it professionally. He turned his passion for music into his daily occupation. Studious as he is, he started the Dance Producer study on the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht. His big dream to turn music into his profession gets closer as he's reached the finals of Seat's Next DJ, giving him the chance of his big breakthrough. His energetic DJ set at the A State of Trance 500 event in Den Bosch, where he gave thousands of visitors a taste of his DiVasco skills, is still the talk of EDM town, so a spot in the finals didn't come as a complete surprise.
It's obvious that DiVasco has quite some experience as a producer. But collaborating with a great name such as Signum, still made him a bit nervous. Above all, it was a challenge to both of them, for also Ron of Signum had to get out of his normal producing routine. Signum:"I thought it would be a great challenge to do something else for a change, find a different sound and all that in a short amount of time. I usually take need quite some time to write and arrange a track, I'm very precise when it comes to that. This time, it was 'pressure on'. Luckily, had Han to back me up when something didn't go the way it should go. He's a great guy, very motivated, who'll surely continue to grow in music."
Signum, known of classics 'What Ya Got 4 Me', 'Push Through', 'First Strike' and remixes for the likes of Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and ATB, delivered their debut album 'For You' at the end of last year, after nearly 15 years of producing. A world of difference to the young talent of DiVasco. But it's mainly the differences that make the result of their collab sound so special. 'Heat' is the promising collab of Signum and DiVasco, that kicks in with rolling beats, a tight hook and a powerful mix of trance, techno and house. A characteristic track that will surely make the dancefloor explode.
