One of the highly anticipated releases on Coldharbour Recordings in 2011 sees the United States East Coast and West Coast combine, with Miami's Tim Grube and Los Angeles native Mike Hovsepian presenting their first original for the label.
Grube & Hovsepian are no strangers to Coldharbour followers, having contributed impressive remixes for Markus Schulz's seminal Do You Dream, as well as Toronto '09's Sound of Flight. A strong friendship was formed initially through the online medium, and as Markus Schulz's Prague '11 compilation was unveiled, their name was brought to the fore, with an anthem in the making.
Invisible is a track that has been three years in the making, and accurately marks Tim & Mike's development as a production duo. The original harnesses those quintessential Coldharbour melodies and emotions, which have entertained a legion of fans for many years. Perfect for both radio play and the live club environment, it has lit up many of Markus' livesets throughout 2011, from the Prague '11 release party in SaSaZu, to the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour recording at Vision in Chicago.
On remix duties for Invisible are a pair of names who are also making waves through Coldharbour in their own right. Australia's Aaron Camz, fresh from a Prague '11 appearance with his own production Room to Breathe, applies his tough and powerful tech influence, giving the track a real big room feel. And keep an eye out for the Irish duo who have captured the hearts of GDJB fans, with Tucandeo's deep and dark take making Invisible a very rounded release package.
Landing perfectly for the Ibiza season, Invisible is sure to find a place in many livesets this summer. It's sure to be a watershed moment for Grube & Hovsepian.
