A regular feature of the Coldharbour Recordings production factory is Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Selections series, presenting three tracks which have been the biggest attention grabbers on his Global DJ Broadcast radio show and in his livesets. The 26th edition of the series however carries a distinct Prague flavour.
Already garnering attention thanks to his efforts on Bounce, under the Saint X alias, Mike Saint-Jules presents one of the most effective and hypnotic trance tracks heard in many a year, beautifully remixed by Greece's hot talent Basil O'Glue. His unique sounds take Crossing Planets to another level, generating an atmosphere which has captured the imagination of all Prague '11 listeners. Basil's remix has also done the business in the clubs, receiving a notable play from Markus in the World Tour recording from Bucharest late last year.
There are fewer producers in 2011 who have impressed Markus Schulz more than Colombia's Khomha. When he received a demo from the Medellin native hours before his annual solo set in Ibiza last summer, Markus debuted the track to the world on that same night, and was one of the earliest tracks locked in for the Prague '11 project. Primed very much for the clubs, Rainy in the Night has been a staple on the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour, with plays in Chicago and Miami, as well as Markus' set from the ASOT 500 celebrations in Buenos Aires in early April.
And last but not least, one of the regular contributors to Coldharbour is back for 2011 with another anthem. It was Cardboard Box in 2009 and Comet in 2010, now Poland's Skytech presents the aptly titled Sirens - a track which embodies the club sound of this year so far. With fond memories of the track emanating from the world famous Green Valley in Brazil, and the hallmarked Vision in Chicago, Sirens will appeal hugely to both lovers of house and trance.
Three massive tunes from the Coldharbour Recordings staple, guaranteed to be the hottest tracks in the DJ box in the coming months.
