It were the early days of house, when happy hardcore, eurodance and rave reigned supreme, when two German producers decided to join forces. Under their Three 'n One moniker, André Strässer and S. Khososi were responsible for their memorable classic 'Reflect' and legendary remix of Energy 52's 'Cafe Del Mar'.
Multifaceted as they are, one moniker wasn't enough for the two of them and so they brought Johnny Shaker to life. Under this second alias, they released the vocal-beauty 'Pearl River' back in the year 1997, which now -- more than a decade later -- finally returns. The guys now present a Dub version of the original track, that still persuades you with its acid elements, rousing synth and piano-lines. Old school at its best -- breathtaking, drifty, fast!
On the remix, Columbian DJ/producer duo Da'Others & Andrea Saenz live up to their name. Their rework of 'Pearl River' offers an outstanding housy approach. German sound-creator Roger Shah drops the tempo and presents a 'Pearl River' rework with the Shah sound written all over it. With this package you're geared up to rediscovering the nineties!
