Melodifestivalen 2016 Final: Interview with Elisabeth Andreassen of Bobbysocks (2016-03-09)

Melodifestivalen is Sweden's national music competition to find the best song of the year. The winner of this competition will be use to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. 28 acts go through four Semi Finals and a Second Chance round before getting into the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2016 which is again held at the Friends Arena in Solna (Near Stockholm) with a live audience of almost 30000 spectators. 12 acts made it into the Final and they are:

3. David Lindgren - We are your tomorrow
4. SaRaha - Kizunguzungu
5. Oscar Zia - Human
6. Ace Wilder - Don't worry
7. Robin Bengtsson - Constallation Prize
8. Molly Sanden - Youniverse
9. Boris Rene - Put your love on me
10. Frans - If I were sorry
11. Wiktoria - Save me
12. Samir & Viktor - Bada Nakna

Radio International has a tradition since 2009 and is present at the rehearsals and interviews with artists, the producer and the hosts.

In this clip see an interview with Elisabeth Andreassen who won the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 for Norway as part of the Bobbysocks together with Hanna Krogh. Elisabeth, also known as Bettan came second at the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 with the song "I evighet" for Sweden. She has participated four times, three times in duets (with Kikki Danielsson in 1982, Hanne Krogh in 1985, and Jan Werner Danielsen in 1994) and once on her own (in 1996). The interview was done at the Welcome Reception in Stockholm's Town Hall on 09 March 2016.
