The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016 takes place in the Mediterranean Conference Centre, overlooking the Grand Harbour in Valetta, Malta.
The national selection of 20 songs competing in the Semi Final on Friday 22 January 2016 are narrowed down to just 14 for the Grand Final the following day, where the victor wins the right to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Team of Radio International is present on location at the Mediterranean Conference Centre conducting interviews with the performers of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
Here, JP and David chat to Destiny Chukunyere, the winner for Malta of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, who will be reprising her song as part of the opening of the Saturday evening Malta Eurovision final.
