The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 is the national selection of Malta to find the song that will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark in May 2014.
20 contestants and voices compete in the Semi Final in the venue called Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC). 14 of the songs advance to the Grand Final which takes places on Saturday 08 February 2014. The Winner will get the ticket to Copenhagen to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The Team of Radio International is on location interviewing the contestants.
In this clip see the interview with Miriam Christine who already successfully represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 1996. She reached Number 10 in Oslo, Norway with the song "In a woman's heart". Since then she has been taking part at various editions of the Malta selection to the Eurovision Song Contest and she does again in 2014 with the fantastic entry called "Safe" composed by Emil Calleja Bayliss and Mark Scicluna.
