Melodifestivalen 2013: Sylvia Vrethammar Interview "Trivialitet"

The Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2013 took place in Stockholm's Friends Arena on 09 March 2013. Ten artists competed for the trophy and ticket to Malmoe for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Robin Stjernberg represents Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "You".

The Team of Radio International was on location and did interview with the artists. In this clip watch the interview with Sylvia Vrethammar - Melodifestivalen participant 2013, semifinal 4 in Malmö. Her song is called "Trivialitet" and it is the fourth time for Sylvia to participate in Melodifestivalen.

Sylvia was born 1945 and has been a professional artist since 1967. Her song "Y Viva Espana" from 1973, became a huge success both in UK and Sweden. The song ended up in the Guiness Book of Records as being on the UK chart for 28 weeks. Since the mid-70s she has a career in Germany and partly lives there nowadays.

This interview was done during the press conference 21st February 2013 in connection with the dress rehearsal.
