The fourth edition of Eurovion in Concert 2012 took place on Saturday 21 April 2012 in Amsterdam's Melkweg venue where representatives of 24 countries that are competing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan on 22. 24 & 26 May 2012 from the Chrystal Arena.
The day started with meeting and greeting the international media in Hotel Mercure in Amsterdam and media had the first chance of doing interviews with the artists. That was followed by a speech of Mr. Sietse Bakker from the European Broadcasting Union who also was partly sponsoring Eurovision in Concert 2012.
Then the artists were taken by boat through the canals of Amsterdam to the Delamar Theatre where media has the second chance of conducting interviews while artists also were doing their sound check in the Melkweg.
Nearly 1400 fans gathered to enter the Melkweg venue for the show to start at 2030 hours CET. The place was absolutely packed and was in my opinion the best ever organised Eurovision in Concert. A big Congratulations to the organisers: esctoday.com, weblog.nl and OGAE Netherlands to mention just a few.
The Team of Radio International as well as Swedish Poplight were present to conduct the many interviews with the artists which you can hear on www.radiointernational.tv and of course as video also on this channel.
In this clip watch the interview with Eva Boto who represents Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Verjamem". Enjoy!
