OGAE UK held their annual Eurobash 2011 Eurovision Convention on 01 October 2011 in the Chancellors Hotel & Conference Centre in Manchester, United Kingdom with the participation of many national and international fans joining the days programme which consisted of The Battle of the Bash, The Euroquiz, The Guest List, Stars in their Eurovision Eyes and the day ended in the early hours of Sunday morning with the Eurovision disco by DJ David Simmons.
After the OGAE UK President's word of welcome the Eurobash started with Monty's Euroquiz which really make the attendees scratch their heads and bite their nails to get all the answers needed.
Of course there is no Eurovision event without a voting and the Battle Of the Bash was there to satisfy the voting public. It was the battle of similar sounding songs as far as the song title is concerned.
Then the famous OGAE UK's Eurobash Guest List presented by Marcus Keppel-Palmer. Invited guests were 1995 UK Eurovision entry "Love City Groove" and 1980's UK Number 3 at the Eurovision Song Contest "Prima Donna" were two of the members were present: Kate & Jane Robbins. And also the main man that was behind the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest. Peter Lundin was the Senior Producer of the show and later became Mr. Melodifestivalen.
After this hightlight followed the next one - Eurostars and a Mini EuroConcert - in Stars in their Eurovision Eyes. Ten acts were presented to the attendees to select the winner.
