Preparations for the 2011 edition of the Melodifestivalen are underway in Sweden's capital Stockholm where on Saturday, 12 March 2011 ten artists will be competing for the ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 to be held in Duesseldorf, Germany in May.
The winner of the Melodifestivalen 2011 will officially also represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest.
In honour of the Melodifestivalen which is Sweden's biggest annual music event, the city of Stockholm hosted a nice Welcome Reception for the participating artists and journalists national and international. During the reception the team of oikotimes and Radio International had the pleasure to meet and interview some of the artists.
In this clip watch the interview with Linda Bengtzing whose song "E det fel pa mej" is song Number 5 of the Melodifestivalen 2011. Linda has been participating at the Melodifestivalen four times: in 2005, 2006, 2008 and now 2011. Good luck this time.
