4-in-1 – microwave zigbee sensor for motion, illuminance, temperature, and humidity

In this video, we’ll look at a new and quite interesting zigbee sensor from the Tuya Smart ecosystem. It offers 4 functions at once – motion detection and measurement of illuminance, temperature, and humidity. Moreover, it uses a microwave radar instead of the usual PIR sensor.
We’ll test the device’s compatibility with popular smart home control systems – Tuya Smart, Apple Homekit, Google Home, and Home Assistant – via a gateway that supports the matter protocol, and also connect it through ZHA and add support for Zigbee2mqtt by creating an external converter for it.
