Xiaomi Mijia Smart Humidifier - review, integration and use in Home Assistant

In this video, we review a controllable humidifier from the Xiaomi Home ecosystem. The device is in many ways similar to the mechanically controlled version that I talked about earlier, but here remote control and smart home integration capabilities have been added.

We will examine the design, look at the main differences — a larger tank, higher performance, the presence of ultraviolet water treatment, and a lower noise level.

Next, we will move on to the software part — connection and operation in the Xiaomi Home app, available modes, and the scheduler.

After that, we will separately consider integration into Home Assistant via Xiaomi Miot, what entities are available, and how the device can be used in automations.
