The long-awaited Missing Link on the Mumbai-Pune expressway is now open 🟢 Nikhil Bhatia takes you through all the key highlights
▪️ 13.3km route comprising two tunnels and two viaducts bypasses the 19.8km Khandala Ghat section
▪️ Starts at Khopoli (Mumbai side) and ends in Kusgaon
▪️ To reduce travel distance by 6km and travel time by at least 25 mins
▪️ Both tunnels, measuring 22.3 metres in diameter, now hold the Guinness World Record for the widest underground tunnels in the world
