The Higher School of Economics hosted a public lecture on science communications organized by the British Embassy in Russia and the Polytechnic Museum.
BBC Radio producer Julian Siddle explained how to talk about science in plain language and described the features of scientific communications with different audiences and various formats the BBC uses to present content. He also showed examples of a social media campaign about science.
Julian personally developed and implemented several BBC science projects, including programs on African science from Uganda and multiseries programs on global digital communications in Asia and Latin America.
