Avatar: The Elite Firebenders You Didn't Know Existed

The Fire Nation sure has its share of secrets, betrayals and most importantly elite firebenders team. From the Royal Procession to Ozai’s Angels, and a whole bunch of secret societies, the Fire Nation is a nation in constant turmoil. As the bloody Hundred Year War came to an end, all the broken pieces were left for the now Lord Zuko to piece them back together. The boy got more than what he bargained for as new societies were created, stealthy ninjas kept trying to assassinate him, and his rocky friendship with Avatar Aang was tested more than once before the events of The Legend of Korra.
In this video, I will deep dive into the Fire Nation history with a special focus on elite firebenders team. While I strongly believe there were more of them during the war, and before, I’d like to discuss a particular secret team of skilled firebenders, or should I call them smokebenders? I also have quite a theory that these shadow fighters are directly responsible for Mako and Bolin’s parent’s death.
