Spider-man haa been dominating the headlines lately with exciting casting announcement after exciting casting announcement. First there was the revelation that not only would Spider-man be facing Electro, but Electro would be played by Jamie Foxx, who played the villain in The Amazing Spider-man 2. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, then we learned that Doctor Strange will appear in the wall crawler’s third outing. A quickly deleted photo announcing his casting on Instagram, Foxx shared an image suggesting that there would be more than one Spider-man in the third movie. Now there are casting rumors that ‘have not been confirmed’ that Andrew Garfield and Toby McGuire have both been approached to reprise their roles as alternate reality Spider-man. How could this play out? Doctor Strange and the Multiverse o Madness begins filming roughly around the same time as Spider-man 3, that could mean that Doctor Strange’s role will remain small. Could it be that Doctor Strange offers Peter sanctuary and Peter finds the multiverse on his own? Maybe he encounters Morlun, the psychic vampire that lives off the Spider Totems of the multiverse. Or could Doctor Strange be offering Peter One More Day? The possibilities are endless, but they could all tie in to the adventures of another Avenger and her struggle with her own powers. Spider-man might find himself in the middle of Scarlet Witch rewriting reality. Peter Parker might find himself getting more than he ever wished for.
