While we haven’t gotten many movies lately, we have gotten an amazing set of news releases and teases that are starting to give us a glimpse into what the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the future is starting to look good. Or really bad, depending how you look at it. Because there’s a threat from the future that has been cast in the third Ant Man movie in the form of Kang the Conqueror. Now that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have become cavalier by traveling through time via the Quantum Realm they might have disturbed Kang's home base of Chronopolis tucked away in the Quantum Realm. But the really exciting thing about Kang is who he might bring with him. After all, Kang is not only the older version of Iron Lad, founding member of the Young Avengers, but also he’s a direct descendant of one Reed Richards. What if Kang being in the Quantum Realm is no accident, what if Kang the Conqueror is in the Quantum Realm because Richards put him there. Or worse, what if Kang had captured Marvel's First Family there himself? It’s entirely possible that the Avengers barrelling through the Quantum Realm may have upset a balance that not only unleashes Kang the Conqueror, but also the Fantastic Four, finally bringing the Marvel Universe together. Let’s take a look at how that could happen and why it’s exciting and what role the Time Variance Authority and Loki might play into the equation.
