Broken Super Hero and Villain Gadgets

Superheroes and gadgets go hand in hand. Most of the supertech that superheroes and villains alike employ are enviable bits of kit. With decades of comics out there, however, some of the things that superheroes and villains come up with are downright questionable. Whether it’s the Mad Titan and cosmic power Thanos using a helicopter to steal an Infinity Stone or it’s Batman putting his entire Batcave in a helicopter so he can take it on the road, there are some vehicles and gadgets that just don’t make the most amount of sense. While there are some that are temporary missteps like Iron Man on rollerskates, some are doomed by their own theme. It seems like nothing can top the level of bad idea of a kite themed supervillain in Kite Man, but that has nothing on Dogwelder. Dogwelder is exactly what it sounds like. From DC to Marvel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, no hero or villain is free from making some questionable choices when it comes to the gear they use to fight or be crime. Some we’ve come to accept as the heroes have become iconic regardless. Heroes like Hawkeye and Green Arrow have taken an antiquated weapon and turned it into a high tech crime fighting tool, as long as we don’t think about it too hard. But even Green Arrow can go too far with his own car. But that car has nothing on Spider-man’s dune buggy when it comes to the question of why they even have that thing. Let’s look at some of the silliest tech that heroes and villains have employed.
