Black Widow’s prequel movie promises to finally explore the origins of our favorite assassin-turned-Avenger in detail after years of waiting. And although we’re so excited to see Black Widow get back to her roots and reunite with her pseudo-family, one of the most anticipated things about the Black Widow movie is the film’s villain, the mysterious Taskmaster. From what we’ve seen, Taskmaster has the ability to mimic some of our favorite Avengers’ abilities. Just from the trailers, we see him throw a shield like Captain America, shoot arrows like Hawkeye, and show off retractable claws like Black Panther. And chances are, the villain has even more tricks up his sleeves.
With a villain this interesting, we’re already a little worried. We hope Taskmaster isn’t just a one-off villain because that would really waste his future potential in the MCU. Not only should Taskmaster survive for the future, but maybe he could start a completely different path. Much like Loki before him, Taskmaster could start off as a villain and then eventually turn into his very own antihero. There are so many different possibilities if Taskmaster survived and started a different, more heroic path, including one that could finally see Deadpool joining the MCU. Can you imagine a Taskmaster vs Deadpool fight? It would be the best thing ever!
So go ahead and check out the video below that’s all about Taskmaster’s future in the MCU and how he can become the antihero the MCU needs. We’ll go in detail about how this could potentially happen and how Black Widow could be the catalyst for his change of heart. So go ahead and check out the video below and tell us after in the comments what you think about the future of Taskmaster.
