The Batman can’t come out soon enough. The DC FanDome Teaser for the movie blew everyone’s mind. While before there was some doubt about Matt Reeves’ new take on the Caped Crusader and many fans were against the casting of Robert Pattinson as the new Dark Knight, I think that now everyone can agree that The Batman could be one of the best movie versions of the iconic character.
In The Batman we will finally get to see the world’s greatest detective actually using his detective skills to solve crimes. And he will have to deal with a mysterious string of murders committed by the Riddler.
Paul Dano’s version of Edward Nashton is unlike anything we've ever seen before. This time around the Riddler will be a creepy serial killer, who will leave clues and riddles to play mind games with Batman.
But it’s possible that the Riddler will help Batman to uncover one of the darkest secrets of Gotham city. The Dark Knight might learn about the true driving force of crime and corruption in the city, and it’s the terrifying secret society known as the Court of Owls.
The teaser includes some hints to the cable, and I think that Court of Owls will be a perfect fit for this dark and realistic.
If the Court is actually part of the story, we might eventually see Batman clash with their scary assassins, the Talons. As well as the sequel to the Batman could be an horror movie.
