Throughout the course of Avatar: The Last Airbender, people loved to come up with their favorite fan theories about some of their favorite characters. But today’s video focuses on probably the most popular Avatar fan theory ever. It suggests that Sokka and Toph had some sort of relationship in the future and Sokka is the father of Toph’s second kid Suyin.
Could such a crazy Avatar theory be true? This video will highlight some key moments in the original run of episodes that seem to suggest Toph had a serious crush on Sokka and then discuss what might have happened in the 70 year gap between The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra that would have led to ‘Tokka’ finally happening. Though it does raise some serious questions about the Last Airbender finale. Mainly, what happened to Suki? Did the Sokka and Suki break up? Or did something more tragic happen to Suki and her fellow Kyoshi Warriors? We know that Toph is the Police Chief in Legend of Korra and Sokka is a Southern Water Tribe representative, so did their close proximity to each other spark old feelings? Maybe!
